Pre-Procedure Preparation

For patients receiving anesthesia in conjunction with surgery, special preparation is required:

Refrain from eating or drinking for a specified period before the procedure
Arrange for a responsible adult to accompany you to and from the appointment
Follow all pre-operative instructions provided by our team to ensure a smooth and safe experience

Dr. Shorouk Elnagdy treated my 5yo. I was very hesitant to bring my kiddo to an office that wasn't specific to pediatric patients but couldn’t have been more impressed. Dr. Shorouk Elnagdy was so good with my son. He got down to his level, talked to him about kid stuff, etc. My son really took nicely to him. Dr. Shorouk Elnagdy was very professional, answered all of my questions, etc. My son ended up having to have a tooth extracted at the hospital and that whole process went very smoothly. What sets Dr. Shorouk Elnagdy apart from other providers we’ve seen in the past tho is how truly kind he is. Every time we met with him he made a point of telling me how good my son was and commented on how well I am doing as a parent. I actually had to fight back tears the one time because my son is going thru a very challenging time and I’ve often felt like I was failing. It was so nice to have a doctor who didn’t need to comment at all, make those sorts of observations. Would recommend him to anyone.

First Rate Experience

I traveled with about 100 miles with my 8-year-old son for an appointment. We thought we would be getting a consultation that day and then return in the future for the actual procedure of removing two teeth. It turns out that they had time to do the procedure on the day we were there and would not have to make a return trip. That was welcome news to me but came as an unwelcome surprise to my son. Dr. Shorouk Elnagdy was extremely comforting. He explained exactly what was going to done by reviewing each step with my son. He was a calming presence and a true professional. Being a kid and having teeth pulled as well as numbing shots in the mouth can be very traumatic, but Dr. Shorouk Elnagdy was awesome. If I or anyone of my children ever needs to get gum treatment, I will make the appointment specifically with him and travel the 100 miles without any hesitancy. He exceeded my expectations. He made what could have been a absolutely terrifying day for my son something that he forgot about the next day!
